Meet Dean Vandersall. Dean is a family friend, in fact, his brother Drew is one of my brother's closest friends, and always has been! The Vandersalls were staples in the lives of many, especially in sports! Being 8 years younger, Dean and his teammates his age were heroes to us as young men. We followed along their football journeys trying to live up to the expectations laid out in front of us! Many of them either babysat us, coached us, or even taught us in school!
Dean shares a very personal narrative regarding the trajectory of his life. Listen in as Dean describes how he ended up in the depths of a Fentanyl addiction only to be saved by God. More importantly how God is using him to help others find their way out of similar addictions and afflictions.
My connection to Dean during this time could only be that God put me into his life at the "right place at the right time". There is no other explanation.
