2022 Year in Review and what will '23 Be

If I had to sum up 2022 with one word it would be "Loss"

In addition to my mom who passed suddenly in August, I lost the relationship with my father. There's numerous friendships that have ended in either friction filled fights or just by disconnect. I've lost in romance with the finalization of my divorce, the breakup with a girlfriend at the beginning of the year, and the recent ending to a dating relationship. I've experienced financial losses with retirement accounts down 15%, non-retirement investments down over 45%, and this doesn't even include the loses due to the bankruptcy of Celsius. On the health front I've continued to work with anxiety, back, neck, and shoulder pains, and I had two gum tissue grafts to keep me from losing my lower front teeth.

Despite all of this, I'm the most hopeful in my life that I've ever been. Even though there's still some more letting go that I have to work with, I've gotten to see the amazingness that's come into my life. The new friends, the new romances, the new income opportunities, the new understanding and appreciation of my body, and most importantly the more calm I have in my life as I've let go of the fear of letting go more and more. I'm also super grateful for Joey who's been a big part of improving the quality and the consistency of this podcast.

As I look back, it's also part of looking forward to what I want to create in 2023. What we visualize can materialize. Although I won't share everything that I see coming in the new year, there will definitely be more love, more fun, more friendships, more abundance, more joy in the body, and more serving. There will definitely be even more opportunities for people to transform their lives to be more fulfilling in joyful, easy, and loving ways with me in the new year. So keep following, listening, and checking in. Whenever you're ready, I will be too.
