She is an award-winning book designer, author, and TEDx speaker who brings authors' stories to life. In 2016, at 53, she began a transformative journey after her 23-year marriage ended. Swapping belongings for a backpack and a one-way ticket to Costa Rica, she solo-traveled across Central and South America for a year, collecting stories for her book while working remotely and volunteering.
