Almost every footballer tries their best to make it in their teams. The pressure can come when you want to break into the first team and more so when you make it to a regular start. As a young goalkeeper, you could ask yourself whether you are good enough. Sometimes it might frustrate you when you are released and bring on self-doubt, But how do you deal with such situations as a young goalkeeper?

Join Joe Partington as he speaks to Benjamin Hamer. He is a professional goalkeeper who currently plays for Watford in the Championship.
Hamer made his professional debut while on loan to Crawley Town, playing every minute of the 2006-7 season except one and earning Player of the Season honors.
He has played for several teams, including Leicester City, Brentford FC, and Charlton Athletic. He was among the first 11 players in Leicester to win the Premier League.
