Manage episode 334807711 series 3279367
Today we sat down with Golden Ears Cheesecrafters co-founder, Emma Davison.
We talk about life as an entrepreneur, the cardinal rules of founding a business with your sister, how to communicate bad news and how to build a team that has as much excitement about your product as you do!
ANND if you're as in love with cheese as I am, you MUST check out the livestream HERE for a behind-the-scenes look at some seriously delicious cheese and to learn the art of the cheese board.
About Our Guest:
Two Maple Ridge sisters Emma and Jenna Davison decided to continue their family’s century-old farming traditions and start a business that produces artisan cheeses, cheddar curds and cultured butter using local ingredients. As much as they can, Golden Ears Cheesecrafters uses the high-fat milk produced by their uncle’s jersey cows.
“We want to be a part of the centuries to come and what there used to be here from the land we originally started with.”
Golden Ears Cheesecrafters has a retail store and bistro alongside producing cheese for some of Vancouver's hottest culinary spots, including Cartems Donuts, Elements, Araxi, Grouse Mountain and many more.
