VYHS E25 – Dr. D.C. Winkelman. What an incredible interview! Dr. D.C. Winkelman earned two doctoral degrees, one in Optometry and one in Educational Phycology, neither of which he used much. Dr. Winkelman has instead spent over 50 years as a Cognitive Brain and Educational Consultant. At one point his Excel Centers of America had twelve offices throughout the Northwest. He has been an expert witness in criminal cases multiple times, worked undercover narcotics while being an eye doctor, became a licensed airplane pilot, served in the First Lady, Barbara Bush’s Excellence 2000 Program, and spoke at numerous educational events. Aside form being one of the most interesting men you’ll ever meet, Dr. Winkelman has used Cognitive Brain Training to help many, many children and adults with Asperger’s, Autism, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, handling pressure and stress, and so much more.
