In this episode of The Woof Life Show the podcast for dog lovers, Lauren Farricker chats with Logan Mikhly the Co-Founder of Boris & Horton. Boris & Horton is the first dog-friendly cafe in New York located in the East Village.

First off, I chat with Logan about the difference between a dog cafe and a dog-friendly cafe. There is a difference and we want to ensure that we set expectations accordingly. There are no dogs living at the cafe similar to the Asian concept/execution of dog or cat cafes that you've seen on the internet. It is a BYOD or a Bring your own Dog establishment.

Mikhly started the business with her Dad to serve a need that there had to be alternatives to get a cup of coffee with your dog. They wanted to create a business that they wanted to use.

Many events take place at Boris & Horton including adoption events with partners like Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue and Foster Dogs NYC, breed meetups, trivia nights, ice cream socials and so much more.
