Emma Roca, the mother of three, was a world-class ultra runner and adventure racer from the Spanish region of Catalonia who fights fires and holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. Travis and Emma discuss World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji 2019; ultra running adventures; Emma’s journey as a female pioneer in male-dominated fields; family and parenting; their close friendship; Emma’s recent journey with cancer; and more.
Emma passed away in June of 2021. We will always love and miss her.
