I've lived in Invisible Girl in three major chapters of my life. The first, growing up. The second, the years chronically ill- especially in 2019 when I spent most of the year in bed. The third came as a surprise. Having healed all those chronic illnesses back in 2020, the last few years I was thriving. But when my dad died, my thrive died. And even though I went on to have a very successful year, selling out Embodied Symptom Wisdom 2023 with a 6-figure launch, and meeting and dating my now partner, Sven.... but as the 1 year anniversary of my dad's death came closer, I found myself needing to live in invisible girl, once again.
In a world where it seems like everyone else can forget about our grief and our pain, I'm here to say I get it, and I see you.
If I can be a teacher on integrating these parts of ourselves, and still find the compassion & courage within to reparent her when she comes up, I know you can find it within yourself to be kind to her, too.
She has so much wisdom for us. Will you listen to her?
