I was pumped to be able to sit down with Weston and record this episode. We have been following each other for about 3 years now on Tik Tok and IG and talked a few times on the phone. He is an F-15 Crew Chief in the Air Force and currently enrolled in ROTC and on his way to commission as an officer in the Air Force.
What really blew me away this episode was how he saw the leadership traits he wanted to develop early in his career working close to pilots and knew thats where he wanted to be. In the jet. Making the tough decisions. Leading the fight.
Sometimes the road we take isn't the shortest or easiest.
Weston has put in the work and we talk about a few key leadership traits like:
Building relationships
Be humble
Try new things
Lead by example
Be selfish
Get uncomfortable
