On this episode of the pod we chat with Conroe High School senior linebacker Mitch Melton. Mitch was a little late arriving to the party but there is certainly not a lack of dance partners who wish to acquire his football skills. His story is one that demonstrates that the path to our goals is not often a straight line. Whether it be moving from South Texas up to Conroe in hopes of being noticed by the college scouts or switching positions and becoming one of the best linebackers in the state of Texas. One thing is for certain and that is Mitch has been flanked with great role models and coaches along the way. Whether it be Coach Grant of the Fury 7v7 football family or his strong willed mother who made the move to help her son fulfill his potential. I can not say enough good things about the young man and you will just have to give the podcast a listen for yourself. In closing I can sum Mitch up in a few words, he is what happens when a battering ram merges with a super computer... I tell no lies!
