Manage episode 353585118 series 3434438
This episode is unique in that it is essentially a "highlight reel" from one my conversation with the incredible Hari Kalsi - an upcoming polymath entrepreneur, who is one of the most inspiring young people I've met.
Hari is a medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin, a Lieutenant General James Abrahamson Fellow at the International Space Station National Lab, and the Co-founder & CEO of an NSF I-Corps supported deeptech startup company called Otto Sciences.
At Otto, Hari spearheads multiple initiatives aimed at accelerating scientific discovery with a strong focus on translational R&D pipelines and the commercialization of space/LEO. Hari graduated a year early from Lawrence University with a double major in biology and biochemistry in 2020. His research background spans multiple fields including protein crystallography, x-ray diffraction, cardiovascular regenerative engineering, biomedical nanotechnology, and others. Hari is passionate about leveraging collaboration across the private sector, academia, and government to develop solutions to some of the largest issues facing humanity today; with particular interest in longevity, neuroprotection, and biostasis.
