Dani's back for part two of unpacking The Gospel of Mary, however, this time she is zooming in on the seven powers of the ego. Mary Magdalene is referred to twice in the Gospels as the disciple of Jesus “from whom seven demons had gone out.” Many people assume this means that Mary was once possessed by demons.
However, for those of us on more of a mystic or gnosis path, we can look deeper into the gnostic gospels and discover the truth about Mary being "possessed by demons". The demons represent the different powers of the ego that all of us have to a certain degree. The fact that Mary is now free of these "demons", tells us that Mary has walked the path of Christ and dissolved her ego. She is truly a spiritual master in her own right and she is someone we can look to for guidance on how to walk the same path.

- What are the 7 powers of the ego and how do they manifest in each of us; and
- How to dissolve the ego and walk the path of Christ.
