#63 Oh how we loved Lametta

I'm late in posting this episode, but i've been far too busy cooking, cleaning, laundry repeat! Phew. Christmas 2022 has been quiet, but still full on and i only have one child... and one very large child (husband). How on earth my mum did this and worked full time with 4 kids i will never know. But you have to give it to Sandra, she created the most amazing Christmas's every year without failure and even today in her 70's, her Christmas sh*t just keeps getting better and better. Do you remember how simple Christmas decorations were when we were kids? Are you old enough to remember decorations from the petrol station, when you collected your petrol points! haha. Or how about chocolates on the tree? Or Lametta!! haha. oh how we loved Lametta and it never failed to make a cameo again later in the year by magically appearing from under the carpet, or behind a bookshelf?

I have some of the most wonderful memories and stories from my Christmas's spent in the 'Hudson' house. My mum has set the bar high as i try to now make the same magical memories for our own son.

I hope that you have had a wonderful Christmas with the ones you love. I do hope this episode makes you smile and laugh as i laughed so hard making this, it was the best trip down memory lane I have had in a while.
