The Internet is so bad in our house, that i'm currently sat in a Costa Coffee uploading this episode! Yes, its that bad! Its taken me back to the 00's dial up malarkey. I'm now having to physically go shopping to shop online as i can't get a signal where we live?? What happened? I have no idea, but its a ball-ache as we are so reliant on the internet in our home, i think everyone is.
So, this week we took Roman to Blackpool Illuminations. This was something we mocked for years and thought, "what a load of shit". But, on reflection its a huge part of both our childhoods we want to share with Roman and a tradition we want to pass down to him. Its slice of history we want to keep alive. Blackpool is my husbands home town and the place he grew up, its where my Grandparents ashes were scattered on the beach and a place i hold really dear to my heart for family trips full of laughter. Roman loved it!
If you've never heard of Blackpool or its famous tower and light display.. Get on google. Its a beautiful piece of old school British history, that we should be embracing.
Plus, thank you for all the messages regarding the Episode 'Self-care with a smear". Wow!! So many women who have not had a smear in years. Get it booked ladies.
