Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Hidden Gem is a new segment that is intended to shine a light on great games that don't get the spotlight they deserve. It is a way to try to tell people about games they may love if only they knew about them. What better way to start than with the Gimmick series? The original Famicom/NES game is an under-rated classic that got forgotten due to its release in the SNES era, but it has persisted as a cult classic, and very recently, it got a beautiful sequel that lives up to it's name. Tune in to learn about why you should play both these games and why this franchise has stayed in the minds of those who played it from the beginning. There is a good chance this might be one of your new favourites.
