Jay Westbrook - Staying Sober Through Life's Ups and Downs - Meeting 270
Manage episode 434619213 series 2786421
Jay Westbrook has been sober since December 2nd, 1988. He spent most of that time in Los Angeles, but moved to Tupelo Mississippi two years ago. He's been a hospice nurse and Grief + Loss Counselor for over three decades.
Jay authored "Compassionate Journeys: Lessons From My Work With the Dying," and has a new book "Relationship Resilience: Applying the 12 Traditions to Relationships" being released next month.
When asked how he is, Jay always responds, "Blessed," and closes each of his writings (texts, emails, posts, etc.) with "as always, in love & service - jay". Today he speaks to us on staying sober through life's ups and downs.
