Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) consists of various lung disorders that cause progressive scarring and inflammation of the lung tissue. This scarring of lung tissue can result in difficulty breathing and impair oxygen supply to the bloodstream, making it critical for daily activities. With over 200 different types of ILD, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis, understanding this condition can be distressing.
