Clinical trials help to determine whether new and existing medicines and medical practices are safe and effective in treating particular diseases and conditions. And even though medicines are tested thoroughly in laboratories human clinical trials assist doctors to further better understand if the new medicines being offered are any better than older ones as well as, they can help to determine correct dosages of medicine to optimise treatment regimes.
