World Cruise:
First let’s start with a cruise around the world! Regent Seven Seas just opened reservations for their 2027 world cruise. They are usually the first to release their world cruises and no surprise, they’re the first to release the world cruise for 2027.
This is a 140-night cruise from Miami to New York on the Seven Seas Splendor. This is the first time they’ll be sailing on a newer ship. The Seven Seas Splendor is from 2020 and their newer class of ships. You’ll visit 6 continents, 40 countries, 71 ports, you’ll do 14 overnight stays, 486 free shore excursions, visit 73 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and sail 35,668 nautical miles.
You’ll start in Miami and sail the Caribbean and through the Panama Canal to Hawaii and French Polynesia, Fiji, Australia and New Zealand, Asia (including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Maldives), throughout Africa and Europe. Obviously this is just some of the highlights.
If you wanted to do a shorter version, that’s available also as a 126-night Miami to Rome sailing.

New Cruise Line Coming Soon:
There’s a new cruise line coming towards the end of 2025. Well, I say cruise line but it’s more of a yacht line. It’s sure the be the most luxurious sailing options available. It’s with the Four Seasons and they’re calling it Four Seasons Yachts.
Small ship cruising at it’s most luxurious. As you know Four Seasons is known for luxury hotels and resorts around the world and their gold standard service. Now they’re bringing that to the seas.
The yacht is absolutely beautiful. I’ll link some renderings of the ship & suites along with some of their itineraries in the show notes.
95 suites on board with the Funnel Suite being over 9,500 sq feet and taking up 4 floors on the top of the yacht!
Four Seasons will be priced a little different than your typical cruise line. It’s not all inclusive. It’s actually something called resort style pricing which means, only your breakfast, wifi, and gratuities are included in your rate. Everything else is extra including
- Lunch & dinner (there will be 11 dining options on board)
- alcohol drinks
- shore experiences
You’ll get a lot on board like the entertainment on board, state of the art fitness center, access to the water-sports marina (there are 2 of them on either side of the ship), and a host of water toys to use and more. That’s all included.
This will be a category of one in ultra luxury cruising. It’s a small yacht so it’ll visit ports the bigger ships can’t get into. So the destinations won’t be overrun with tourists. If you’re looking for something a little more exclusive and luxurious, Four Seasons Yachts is for you!
Luxury Rail Journey in Italy:
If you like the golden age of rail travel, head to Europe as luxury rail travel is very popular there. The most luxurious is the Orient Express.
There’s a new option coming to Italy called La Dolce Vita Orient Express -
There are 8 itineraries ranging from 1-night to 2-nights. Most journeys start and end in Rome but there are some that don’t. The 8 are:
- Rome to Venice and back to Rome 2-nights

So if you are in Italy and are looking for something different, you can add a 1 or 2 night luxury rail journey to your trip. Or this could be your main trip and you can build around the rail journey.
