My guest this week is Australian traveller Ty. Not wanting to follow the traditional career path after finishing university, Ty decided to, instead, chase an ambitious goal: To circumvent the world without flying. He left his home in Australia thinking it would take him about 18 months. That was six years ago now. Since then, Ty has been travelling on a shoestring budget, slowly making his way around the globe.
We talk about what it’s like to be a long-term traveller, how he makes it work financially, long-distance relationships and how six years on the road have changed his outlook on life.
