2. God reminds us not to fear – “Fear not”

- Proclamation – the good news of the gospel
- Promise – the long-awaited Savior is born
- Person – the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ
3. God wants us to see and hear Him and His word – “for behold, I bring you good news”
4. God gives us a message of hope – “I bring you good news of great joy”
5. God gives us a message for all people – “that will be for all people”
6. God keeps His promises – “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior”
7. God gives us the greatest gift – a relationship with Himself – “For unto you…a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
