After surviving five concussions and a near-death experience, Dave retired from ice hockey with chronic headaches, short-term memory loss, and slurred speech that impaired his quality of life.

Refusing to live a half life, Dave worked with top doctors and healers to regain his physical and spiritual strength and athletic endurance, and complete his first Ironman! He learned to balance the masculine and feminine, the gladiator and the monk, to harness his experiences in his new passion as a mindset and business coach.

We dive into how Dave embraced trauma to find another gear with his resilience and determination, and how seeing yourself as “always in training” helps you leverage every experience to hone your skills and upgrade your operating system.
