May Saengpraseuth Alirad is a community leader, activist, philanthropist, entrepreneur, author, and school social worker. She is the founder and CEO of DeLao Coaching with a mission to empower survivors of assault to take control of their life. May wrote a book entitled “Was I Assaulted? My Guide to Healing as a Survivor” to empower fellow survivors of sexual assault to find their voice and take control back of their life. The book will consist of her 25 years of personal experiences, lessons she learned as a survivor and a therapist, and reflections for the reader.
