In this episode, we interview Dr. Bailey, a licensed clinical psychologist working in Illinois at a therapeutic day school and group practice. Dr. Bailey supervises psychology students in the assessment rotation at the facility she works at as well as conducts diagnostic testing for children and adolescents. We ask her hard hitting questions (like what is an IEP and 504 plan) and do a deep dive into the ins and outs of therapeutic day schools. We also get some handy tips on how to manage stress for children, parents and just about anyone during this pandemic holiday season.
