Today, in Episode 73, I'm thrilled to dive deep into a topic that's close to my heart: maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle.

As I recently celebrated my birthday, it got me thinking - aging is inevitable, but we have the power to shape our health and well-being every step of the way. So, let's talk about it!

  1. Determining a healthy weight using the BMI (Body Mass Index) chart, which takes into account fat percentage relative to muscle and bone mass.
  2. A balanced diet consisting of whole foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains, while limiting processed foods and high-fat snacks.
  3. Hydration, aiming to drink half your body weight in ounces of water each day, supporting overall bodily functions and curbing feelings of hunger.
  4. Regular exercise, with a recommendation of at least 150 minutes per week, incorporating both cardiovascular and strength training exercises to build muscle and support bone health.
  5. Adequate sleep of at least six hours per night, essential for the body's repair and recovery processes.
  6. Stress management through activities like yoga, meditation, and finding joy in daily life, to prevent emotional eating and weight gain.

Remember, it's progress over perfection, my darlings. Small steps lead to big changes. So, let's embark on this journey towards a healthier, happier version of ourselves!
