Inna gadda da vida, baby: Amy’s got a sexy cold and a silly new anti-spiral technique, and Stef’s nether region is superlative. That’s to say the gals are in a good place right now, and we’re calling it “on base.” Can we enjoy the break before having to run for our lives (or the car) again? Maybe every cloud really does have a silver lining. Then, it’s the season of the con and the cancer community is not immune. From Hollywood hucksters to Facebook fakers, we like the stories but hate the morals. Ding dong—MyChart strikes again! A letter from a brain cancer person (go grey in May!) shares a tale as old as time—getting fobbed off by doctors—and a retreat from the US healthcare system. Another letter practically buzzes with hilarity, awkwardness, and good news about a listener’s fertility preservation procedures. RATS are getting hot—boiling hot—and saying hi, F U cancer! We’re talking high intensity focused ultrasound and boiling histotripsy for melting tumors away.
