The 33-year-old man from Western Australia disrupted a flight from Perth to Sydney, prompting the plane to turn back. Nearly a year later, he was ordered to pay $5,786 for fuel costs and received an additional fine of $6,034 for disorderly conduct and failing to comply with safety instructions.

WACKY-BUT-TRUE: CUSTOMERS RECEIVE FAKE $100 BILLS FROM ATM _ Imagine going to the ATM expecting to withdraw cash, only to realize that the $100 bills you received are fake. That’s what happened to multiple customers at an Independence Bank ATM in Providence, Kentucky. According to reports, more than a dozen people were given counterfeit $100 bills marked “for motion picture purposes” and “in props we trust” when they made withdrawals. Independence Bank responded to the incident by closing the ATM, contacting their vendor, and reaching out to the affected customers.
