Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, is an award-winning educator, LGBTQ activist, playwright, author, and storyteller. Madison spent 10 years writing, creating, and producing traveling educational theater on the East Coast before moving to Los Angeles. As a griot, Dale's storytelling company Umoja Sasa! Storytellers wrote original and inspired African fables to entertain and educate audiences. He currently is an arts educator with the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
Talks with Dale cover his early life, activism, his TV/Film career, Education, Dale’s newest work “Dale’s Tales - How God Created Butterflies & Other African American Stories. We tap into Dales doll making/collecting while revisiting Dale’s store for the black queer & erotic queer eye in his home town.
