From Henry VII and Edmund Dudley, Dr Joanne Paul traces the roller coaster ride of this charismatic family throughout the Tudor dynasty. Each generation found a way to stay relevant at the Tudor Court and use a cat like finesse to always land on their feet, often at the cost of losing their heads. The ever mysterious relationship of Elizabeth I and the Earl of Leicester is a prime example of how they played with power.
