Why does the word HOLIDAY spark fear in some and total joy in others? So what is it about the Holiday that generates the most stress…those November or December Holidays! Whether it is Christmas or Hanukkah, Thanksgiving or any other, it is a time when family and friends get together. A time that is shared, a time remembered and a time you want to be the best.
The keys to the success of any holiday are planning and follow-through. Without those, have you found yourself boarding the “runaway bus”? Are you one of those people who went through the motions and, when all was said and done, you were exhausted, spent, and swore you would do it differently next year? But when that next time came around, was anything noticeably different? More importantly, did YOU have fun?
Sallie Felton is a radio talk show host, life coach, hypnotherapist, author, facilitator and inspirational speaker. Sallie’s popular radio show “A Fresh Start with Sallie Felton” hosts world renowned guests and is designed to provide conscious raising topics to empower listeners providing them with tips, techniques and resources to move them along in their lives. She and her husband, Conway, host another sought after radio show, “Light at the End of the Tunnel” in which they are advocates for those suffering from depression. Sallie is the co-author of several books including Clutter Free and Clear: How To Take Charge of Your Time and Space (2008), The Small Business Owner’s Assessment Tool (2008), Stepping Stones To Success (2010) with Deepak Chopra, GPS For Success with Stephen Covey (Spring 2011); and her companion E-workbook to GPS, Start Where You Stand, Finding Your True North In Life/Work Balance (2011). Sallie’s newest book, If I’m So Smart, Why Can’t I Get Rid Of This Clutter? is due out fall 2011.
