Welcome to the Broken Sparrows podcast. This is the debut launch episode, in which I provide an introduction including who I am, the purpose of the show, and what listeners will gain by subscribing and following me. I also share (with faithful and humble vulnerability) some background info on me and my past ministry.
I am a woman who's had a tough journey, struggling with everything from miscarriage to autoimmune disease to obesity and depression. What I've come to understand, though, is that God cares for the broken. Especially us women who carry heavy burdens and many losses and sorrows. Yet there is joy to be found, and I'm here to help you find it.
The main theme of this episode is faith, the risk of faith, God's goodness is suffering, the purposes of suffering. Scripture referenced here is Phil. 3:7-10;12-14
