POV: it's somewhere around Fall of 5th grade year, you just finished your first sex ed class, and you're scared to death. If you look at a boy, you'll get pregnant and your life will be over. When you get your period, everything will change and you'll never be the same again.
Unfortunately, pretty much nothing we learned about our bodies as women, how they function, and how to take care of them came from sex ed. It wasn't until we were in our 20s that we truly understood how pregnancy works, what a healthy period is supposed to be like, and how our hormones actually function. Thus, we present to you - a Wellness Digest sex ed redo :)
