Good morning, DC! Let's dive into our weekend weather forecast that's looking wetter than a slip 'n slide at a summer party.
Today, we're starting off partly sunny with temperatures climbing to a crisp 44 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a calm wind that'll lazily drift southeast at around 5 miles per hour.
But hold onto your umbrellas, because tonight things get interesting! We're looking at rain rolling in after 1 am, with temperatures dipping down to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. There's an 80 percent chance of precipitation, so expect between a tenth and quarter inch of rainfall.
Saturday is basically a waterpark adventure. Rain all day long with temperatures reaching near 50 degrees Fahrenheit. We're talking a 100 percent chance of precipitation, with potential rainfall between a quarter and half an inch.
Sunday brings more moisture with rain before 1 pm, then transitioning to showers afterward. Temperatures will surge to a surprising 64 degrees Fahrenheit with south winds gusting up to 24 miles per hour.
