Good morning, weather watchers! It's your friendly neighborhood meteorologist here with the chilly scoop for Washington District of Columbia.
Let's break down this frosty forecast that'll have you reaching for those extra layers!
Today, we're looking at a crisp sunny day with temperatures maxing out near 31 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a gentle north wind blowing around 3 to 8 miles per hour - perfect for a brisk winter walk, but definitely coat-worthy!
Tonight, bundle up buttercup! We're diving down to a bone-chilling 15 degrees with essentially calm winds. Think thermal underwear and hot cocoa weather.
Moving into Monday, we'll see mostly sunny skies climbing to a slightly warmer 36 degrees. Your wind will be playing musical chairs - starting calm, then shifting to a southerly breeze around 6 miles per hour in the afternoon.
Tuesday brings some excitement with a 30 percent chance of rain and snow before 1 pm. Temperatures will nudge up to 45 degrees, giving us a mild midweek mix.
