Good morning, folks! Time for a fun-filled weather update in Washington DC!
Today, we are looking at sunny skies with a high near 89 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will start light and variable but will shift to east at 5 to 8 miles per hour later in the morning.
Tonight, expect mostly clear conditions with a low around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The southeasterly winds will transition to light and variable in the evening.
Moving on to Sunday, it's going to be another sunny day with a high near 91 degrees Fahrenheit. The calm winds will switch to a westerly direction around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon.
And for those planning ahead to the start of the workweek, Monday brings a slight chance of showers after 2 pm. It will be mostly sunny with a high near 94 degrees Fahrenheit. The southwest wind will be blowing at 5 to 7 miles per hour.
As we head into the middle of the week, keep an eye out for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Tuesday through Thursday have chances of precipitation ranging from 30% to 40%. So, be prepared for some wet weather at times.
By Friday, the sun will be back shining with a hot high near 97 degrees Fahrenheit.
