Good morning, New Yorkers! It's time for your daily weather report, straight from the National Weather Service in New York, New York.
Let's jump right into it. Today is looking like a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and a high near 59 degrees. You can expect a calm wind in the morning, which will shift to a southward breeze of 5 to 9 miles per hour in the afternoon.
Tonight, things will remain mostly clear with a low around 44, and a southwest wind of 3 to 8 miles per hour.
Moving on to Saturday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 58. The day will start with light south winds that will pick up to 9 to 14 miles per hour in the morning.
As we head into Saturday night, there's a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 2am. The night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 50 and a south wind of 9 to 11 miles per hour.
On Sunday, there's still a 30 percent chance of showers before 8am, and the day will be partly sunny with a high near 69 and a south wind around 8 miles per hour.
Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 60, setting the stage for a partly sunny Monday with a high near 78.
Looking ahead at the week, make sure to keep an umbrella handy for Tuesday night, with a chance of showers between 8pm and 2am. The rest of the week looks promising with mostly sunny to partly sunny days and highs ranging from 65 to 72 degrees.
