Good morning, Chicago! This is your weather update for the next few days, and let me tell you, we're in for a bit of a soggy ride.
Tonight, expect some drizzly action and fog rolling in, with temperatures hanging around a mild 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Those southeast winds will be lazily drifting at around 5 miles per hour.
Thursday brings more of the same misty vibes. Patchy drizzle and fog will greet you in the morning, with temperatures climbing to a comfortable 46 degrees Fahrenheit. Your south southeast winds will be slightly more energetic, blowing between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Now, things get interesting on Friday. Get ready for a full-on rain event! Temperatures will reach near 49 degrees Fahrenheit, with east southeast winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour. There's a 90 percent chance you'll need that umbrella, folks.
The weekend looks cloudy with a sprinkle chance. Saturday hovers around 51 degrees Fahrenheit, and Sunday will be a bit cooler at 46 degrees Fahrenheit.
As we roll into next week, expect mostly cloudy conditions with occasional rain possibilities. Tuesday night might even throw a curveball with a chance of rain turning into snow, with temperatures dropping to a chilly 29 degrees Fahrenheit.
