The team continues telling the story of Pond Farm, a 90 acre patch of land in the Ypres Salient that saw years of fighting during WW1. Professor David O'Keefe, and filmmaker Wayne Abbott with special guest Stijn Butaye discuss the opportunity they had to film on Pond Farm when Stijn and his family dig deep into the infamous blue clay to enlarge one of their ponds. The team gets the chance to search for war artifacts with a focus on the Battle of Passchendaele in 1917. It's extraordinary what they uncover, incredible century old artifacts and unexploded ordinace preserved as new in the blue clay. The stunning footage in this episode has never been seen outside of the UK produced for a show called Buried War.
