from Israel. Barry is Israel’s International Public Diplomacy Director
at The Israel Institute for Strategic Studies. He regularly contributes
to various media outlets including the Jerusalem Post and is a frequent speaker at conferences and pro-Israel advocacy events. Barry has been a staunch defender of Israel in the public diplomacy arena for decades and has initiated the creation of several pro-Israel grassroots groups. He has a keen following of tens of thousands of people globally. He is the author of ‘Israel Reclaiming the Narrative’ Fighting Hamas, BDS and Anti-Semitism’ and his most recent book, ‘BDS for IDIOTS,’ employs ridicule as new method of countering BDS activists and disclaiming their
slander against Israel with facts and humor. Barry gives a full account of details not heard anywhere else,
particularly when mainstream media does not cover everything.
Barry described what it’s like at present for Israelis who try to live
their daily lives in a normal way.
Also discussed was how and why one of the worst mass casualty strikes onIsrael in a year of war came not from the dozens of Iranian ballistic missiles, or the onslaughts of rocket fire launched by Hamas and Hezbollah, but a single drone overloaded with missiles aimed at a military training camp killing and wounding soldiers that evaded Israel’s air-defense system.
