Ipswich Town last season completed a dramatic rise from a defeat by Barrow in the FA Cup with preceded Kieran McKenna getting the job at Portman Road and then guiding the Tractor Boys from League One to the Premier League!
We had the pleasure of welcoming on a comedian who King Charles classes amongst his favourites, an actor who has starred alongside Russell Crowe, Heath Ledger and Piers Brosnan and a writer of both comedy and his own TV programmes. A man who in the face of 9/11 managed to use comedy as a cause for good and break down barriers which developed at the time.
That man is Omid Djalili - a man who has starred in Gladiator, Notting Hill, The Mummy, Cassanova and was the lead man in David Baddiel movie The Infidel as well as performing on Live at the Apollo and touring the globe many occasions, most recently as part of the Namaste tour which starts its UK leg in December 2024!
