It’s time to listen to the world.

Telling our stories has never been more important, or easier! I’ve simplified the older Speaking Up process into four questions which naturally guide us through the stages of grief and learning, to help us clarify the most important experiences of our past, present, and future, so we can understand one another at our most human level. The more of these stories of loves, losses, dreams, and needs we hear from the world, the more informed we’ll all be about who we are and where we want to go, as a whole planet, full of Earthlings who are, simultaneously both very similar, and quite unique…

Loves – What are your most precious people and/or places that have helped you feel most alive?

Losses – How have those people and/or places not been able to get what they needed to flourish? And how have their struggles effected you, personally?

Dreams – Thinking about these precious people/places, what would you most love to create and/or explore as a way to honor them, or take excellent care of them, in some deeply meaningful way?

Needs – Which specific basic physical resources does your body require for you to be able to effectively work towards your dreams? (Human physical needs can be categorized as: regular access to nutritious food, clean water, fresh air, comfortable warmth, inspiring light, useful information, and outlets for expressing the body’s excess solids, liquids, gasses, and energy.)

The Big Picture:

We have land! Thanks to generous donations, my dream of starting a non-profit community resource hub with resident artists, techies, and educators all working with the community to find creative solutions using available resources to serve the needs of the community members freely and unconditionally so that everyone can be their best possible selves has real, material beginnings! We now have a (very cheap) small blop of property in mid-coast Maine, and I’m seeking folks who can help physically build spaces for volunteers to live, and the public to explore and create with us.
