For this as well as the past two episodes God has been speaking to us concerning hearing His voice and how to know when and if it's truly Him. The true litmus test in knowing when a dream, or for that matter, any message is of God or not, is to be sure that it lines up with His word. It must be in His language. No matter how great, awesome or for that matter even terrifying a dream may be, if it doesn’t line up with the word of God, if it’s not in His language then it’s not God. And let me say that if you don’t know God’s language then you will never understand what He’s speaking. That means for us to be on one accord with Him we must speak the same language that God does. What is God’s language? The Bible. If we don’t know God’s word, the Bible, then we will never understand what He’s speaking to us. It will always be guesses and assumptions, a bunch of hit and misses. God’s word is the Bible and that’s the language He uses to speak to us and it’s how His word is confirmed. A sure way of knowing when something or someone is truly of God is when what they are saying lines up with His word. Don’t let a prophet, apostle, pastor or anyone else speak something into your life that doesn’t line up with God’s word.
