In Part 1, Reggie Gaston (aka "DJ Reggie Regg") of Humana Radio captured our hearts as he has all of Humana Nation. In full disclosure, this episode was recorded directly before Humana Radio studios moved to front-facing on Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky. It brings us so much joy that the vision, hope, and passion that Reggie had for Humana Radio has come to fruition. He is more than a ‘connector’ for Humana! Reggie is the first voice most of us hear in the morning AND our sound of music throughout the day. Reggie stated, “Music is food for the soul” and without a doubt, he fills our soul every day. Reggie has created a ‘radio family’ at Humana and ‘we’ listeners cannot get enough. Reggie is authentic, never meets a stranger, will give away the shirt on his back, and wears his heart on his sleeve. Likewise, this man has an inspiring story of the love of music, serving in the army including the Gulf War, and about his journey at Humana. He produces commercials, promotions, is a liaison for content for podcast creators, creates daily schedules, and serves as a member of the Humana Radio Advisory Council. Reggie formerly worked at Humana from 2011 to 2017 and is now back and ready to fill Humana’s airwaves with music, podcasts, promos, and more. He is a Gulf War Veteran with the United States Army, has two sons - Reggie Jr. who is 23 years old, and Gabriel who is 13 years old. Reggie’s passion for what he does can be summed up with this quote: “Music has always been a part of my life. If I ever hit the lottery, I would still be a DJ, but just do it with better equipment.”
