Ilona Salo is a Data Privacy Intern at Tesla working at the European HQ in Amsterdam. She undertook her Law LLB at the University of Warwick and then completed a masters in International Business Law at the University of Helsinki. After gaining experience at several other businesses, Ilona and I discuss how she got into Law and technology, what her job involves at Tesla and how Data Protection under the GDPR is handled in a multinational company. Towards the end of the podcast, Ilona gives some excellent resources for those wanting to learn more about how Law and technology interact.
