This week, the gang is not alone! We've got amazing company in the studio. Our mutual friend Paul joins us this week to discuss Male Vulnerability. We start off the show (2:41) with Eminem's "Cleaning Out My Closet" following his mom's passing this past week. Then we caught up with our guest (6:32) and drilled him for the next ten minutes on why it took him 200+ episodes to feature on the pod. LOL! Danny and Naomie get into their back and forth (16:10) on yet another episode, leading Paul to believe he might be our relationship therapist. LOL! Then Naomie poses the Question of the Week (36:01) on what we would do if we all found out our mom wasn't our mom but our elder sister was, but both were dead.
On Nana's Corner (56:03), we discuss Eminem's mom's passing, SZA & Kendrick's new tour announcement, Nick Cannon being diagnosed with narcissistic disorder, Martin Lawrence's daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, and Eddie Murphy's son, Eric Murphy getting married + MORE. On to the main discourse (1:49:11) of this week's episode, we break down the concept of "Male Vulnerability" and why the term exists in the social ecosystem. We poke at the phrase "men should cry and share more" and how there is not much of a safe space socially for men to express their emotions.
