In today’s episode of The Recovering Entrepreneur, I am joined again by Debbie Peterson. She is the first directly elected female mayor of Grover Beach, California, a former council member, planning commissioner, and advocate for good government. Debbie hosts the podcast, The Corruption Chronicles, and is also an author of books about good governance.
During our chat, she shares her perspectives on the importance of female representation in politics, the obstacles women face in pursuing political careers and also the role of transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership in preventing corruption, and the importance of public awareness and education in creating a culture of integrity.
