During this episode we chopped it up about his signature moniker, musical upbringings/inspirations with his father riding around listening to Hip-Hop (Ruff Ryders, Swizz Beatz). Ohrickybeats named his Greatest Beats of All Time from Kanye West/Kid Cudi “4th Dimension” from Kids See Ghost. He names his Beatmaker/Music Producer Superheros (Kanye West, MF DOOM, Nujabes, J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, Timbaland, Knxwledge, Madlib, DIBIA$E, The Avalanches, 9th Wonder, Dirty Art Club, more. Listening to Kanye West & Kid Cudi’s Kids See Ghost LP and beginning his music creation journey. Ohricky creates music using Teenage Engineering PO-33 (Pocket Operator) and Roland's SP404 MK2. He talks about the his album "33til". He describes what the local Beat-Scene looks like from his perspective with beat scene collectives such as Flipabeatclub which he participates in monthly. We talked about the creation of his The Bump Show and the newly released collaborative album "URL Friends" with the X-Men of Beats, choosing where to out his energy, time management. Ohricky left crazy jewels and inspiring words for Beatmakers and detailed what's in store for 2023.
