The Philadelphia Flyers are still continuing to figure out their rebuild and restructure here in 2025. Lots of questions persist for this team and organization. However, there are storylines that are still important for us to follow. This week, Russ Cohen from the Locked On Flyers podcast, NHL Network Radio on Sirius/XM, and author of the book “Game Winners” joined us for a dive into this Flyers team. The guys discussed new and old talent on this team. Overall, a great discussion!
But first, the guys dove into some early baseball talk regarding the NL East. Which teams realistically may be at the top of the division? (Approx. 5:05)
From there, they discussed how the Eagles need to handle re-signing free agents, and also how the Green Bay Packers have proposed banning the tush push. (Approx. 12:40)
Then the guys talked about some larger NBA storylines dealing with OKC, the Knicks, and the Pistons. Plus, the Sixers need to shut down Joel Embiid, and figure out the best way to end this season. (Approx. 30:55)
What they threw down on the Table this week was a great and in-depth discussion with Russ Cohen from the Locked On Flyers podcast about the direction the Flyers are heading. How should we be viewing Matvei Michkov, his production, and overall development from now until the end of the season?
