Dr. Ashish Kamat is a Professor of Urologic Oncology and Cancer Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Kamat received his MD and completed his surgical training at the University of Bombay in India. He completed his fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He is the President of the International Bladder Cancer Group (IBCG) and International Bladder Cancer Network (IBCN). He is listed in ‘Who’s Who in Medicine’ and ‘Best Doctors in America’ and has won the Compassionate Doctor Award from patient groups. Dr. Kamat has over 275 research publications to his credit and is now a part of the BCG Vaccine trial for COVID-19.
